Cook Islands Travel Information
Two-way quarantine-free travel allows airlines and airports to operate ‘quarantine-free’ also known as ‘Green’ flights between New Zealand and approved safe travel zone destinations without the requirement of quarantine on arrival as set by local governments.
CookSafe and CookSafe+ are the official contact tracing systems as part of the national effort to protect the Cook Islands from COVID-19. If a COVID-19 case is identified, the Ministry of Health will be able to trace people who may have been exposed to the virus through the process of contact tracing. Visitors are highly recommended to register for a CookSafe QR Card and tag in at participating locations, and download the CookSafe+ contact tracing app as an added layer of protection. By participating in the contact tracing systems, you are playing your part to keep both yourself and the Cook Islands safe.
